Your process safety data belongs to you, not to a file format. The Kenexis Software-Utilities repository exists to open files that Kenexis® Open-PHA® and Open-Audit produce so that other tools — AI assistants especially — can read them, write them, and build them from scratch without corrupting a single field.

The repository holds five utilities: reader and writer pairs for Open-PHA® (.opha) study files and Open-Audit (.aud) files, plus a protocol-to-audit tool that turns an audit protocol written in plain Markdown into a ready-to-open .aud study. They are packaged as skill files an LLM can consume directly, they are written in Python, and they are released under the MIT license — public and free to use.

Point Claude or another AI tool at these skills and it can summarize a HAZOP, pull every safeguard and recommendation out of a study, scaffold a new audit from your own question catalog, or hand data to a third-party application that was never designed to speak Kenexis’ format.

This webinar walks through how to do that. We will show you where the utilities live, how to connect them to an AI tool, and how to use them on real study files — reading, extracting, and generating .opha and .aud data live. The point is not to turn you into a programmer. The point is to show a working engineer how to get an AI assistant to do the tedious data handling around a study so you can spend your time on the engineering that matters.
