ISA Training is Ongoing at Kenexis Houston Office and Online

We are assisting in the ongoing ISA training so that we can continue to educate on the safe operation of manufacturing and process control facilities. Our Houston office is providing additional COVID-19 safety instructions and practicing social distancing in the classroom and common areas like the kitchen.

When the instructor and students arrive, they receive the normal safety briefing and additional instructions regarding COVID-19 requirements.

The added instructions follow CDC guidelines regarding temperature, illness, exposure, social distancing, and reminders about good hygiene and avoiding social gathering even in common areas.

Even while holding equipment-based training classes, a limit of 6 persons is being adhered to so the 6’ social distancing guideline can be maintained.  We have supplied sanitizing wipes throughout the facility including the classroom, kitchen, and lobby. Students and instructors are required to wipe down anything they use immediately after using it before someone else can possible touch the area.

Additionally, we have quickly moved the ISA Fire and Gas System Engineering – Performance Based Methods for Process Facilities (EC56P) Course to online for the June 29th training class. This means you can stay home or at work and attend the class each morning for 6 business day mornings (EDT) instead of traveling.

While we want everyone to be safe, we also realize that we need to continue to work and educate ourselves to be better at what we do for our neighbors and society.
