This tutorial describes how to create a black box model in Vertigo™. Black box models allow you to override Vertigo™‘s default PFD and STR calculations. With Black box models you to directly specify PFD and STR values calculated from a source outside of Vertigo™.
This tutorial also describes the integration of an Arbor™ fault tree analysis study with Vertigo™ for use in SIL Verification calculations.
