Kenexis and ISA craft agreement to market and execute the EC-50/52/54 series ISA SIS Engineering courses in the United Arab Emirates Kenexis will schedule open-enrollment publicly-available sessions of the SIS Engineering series of courses available from the ISA. These courses are part of the ISA84/IEC61511 SIS Certificate Programs, which allow participants with the appropriate pre-requisite experience to obtain up to three certificates to demonstrate competency in the IEC61511/ISA84 standard and associated engineering techniques and procedures. Courses include: • EC-50 – Safety Instrumented Systems – Design, Analysis, and Justification • EC-52 – Advanced Safety Integrity Level (SIL) Selection • EC-54 – Advanced Design and SIL Verification. Current plans call for at least two sessions of all three training courses to be executed in Abu Dhabi during the 2011 calendar year, with additional open-enrollment and private placement courses as required by the demand. A set of courses in Dubai is also a strong possibility. The first course set is tentatively scheduled for the end of the first quarter, with the second set in early autumn.
