Edward M. Marszal PE,

| Mr. Marszal has over ten years of experience in the design and implementation of engineered safeguards, such as safety instrumented systems, relief systems, alarm systems, and fire and gas systems, in the process industries. Mr. Marszal is President of Kenexis and responsible for engineered safeguard design basis development and verification/validation projects. In his current position he has solid experience in SIS implementation and risk analysis projects for a variety of process plants in diverse world-wide locations. Marszal began his career with UOP, a licensor of process units to the petroleum and petrochemical industries, where he performed field verification of control and safety instrumented systems at customer sites, and designed and managed development of custom control and SIS projects. After leaving UOP, Mr. Marszal led a number of risk analysis / engineered safeguard consulting teams culminating in the establishment of Kenexis. Mr. Marszal is committed to providing education on chemical process loss prevention. He teaches many of the Kenexis courses and an ISA course on SIL selection and layer of protection analysis, and he also provides regular lectures and loss prevention to the Ohio State University undergraduate program. In addition to training, Mr. Marszal is a prolific author, including numerous technical papers and the award winning ISA book Safety Integrity Level Selection. Mr. Marszal is very involved in the Instrumentation, Systems, and Automation (ISA) society. Mr. Marszal holds a number of leadership positions at the national and local levels. He is currently Director of the Safety Division and Vice-President of his local section. Mr. Marszal participates on ISA standards committees, including SP 84 for safety instrumented systems and SP 18 for alarm systems. He also peer reviews papers for ISA Technical Conferences and ISA Transactions. |

Mr. Richardson has over thirty years of experience in the design and implementation of engineered safeguards, such as safety instrumented systems and alarm systems in the process industries. Mr. Richardson is a Principal Engineer of Kenexis and is responsible for engineered safeguard design basis development and verification/validation projects. In his current position he has solid experience in SIS implementation and risk analysis projects for a variety of process plants in diverse world-wide locations. Mr. Richardson’s career has been primarily with UOP, a licensor of process units to the petroleum and petrochemical industries. While there he performed field verification of control and safety instrumented systems at customer sites, designed and managed development of custom control and SIS projects and was a technical resource within UOP for the safety review, design, construction and programming of control and SIS projects. Mr. Richardson was also a Technical Services engineer for petrochemicals supporting UOP’s customers and provided training at customer sites. Mr. Richardson earned several patents during his time at UOP in the areas of process and process control. Mr. Richardson has participated on ISA standards committees, including SP 84 for safety instrumented systems. He also peer reviews papers for ISA Technical Conferences and ISA Transactions. |

Christopher Weil

Mr. Weil has over twenty years of experience in the design and implementation of engineered safeguards, such as regulatory control safeguards, safety instrumented systems, and alarm systems in the process industries. Mr. Weil is a Senior Consultant of Kenexis and is responsible for engineered safeguard design basis development and verification/validation projects. In his current position he has solid experience with over 40 SIS implementation and risk analysis projects for a variety of process plants in diverse world-wide locations. Mr. Weil’s career has been diverse in the petroleum and chemical industries including overseas work in Saudi Arabia and India. His experience includes the design, installation, programming, commissioning and start-up of distributed control systems, and safety instrumented systems. Mr. Weil participated in the early PLC development of input and output diagnostics for the safety instrumented systems prior to this function being available with the vendor equipment. Mr. Weil has also worked in the development of process control and safety instrumented systems for new processes utilizing micro-channel reactors at the lab level, scale-up level, and commercial applications. |

Mr. Ganesan
is a chemical engineer with
over fifteen years of experience in the design, engineering, operation and
maintenance of chemical process units. Mr. Ganesan is a Senior Engineer of
Kenexis DMCC, and is responsible for sales, marketing, and execution of Kenexis’
services in the Middle East, including UAE, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait and
Saudi Arabia. Mr. Ganesan began his career with L&T Ltd., a premier Engineering,
Procurement and Construction (EPC) firm in India. At L&T, he was involved in the
design, engineering, and commissioning of numerous spray drying units for food,
pharmaceutical and chemical industries. He left L&T to join HPCL, a Fortune 500
crude oil refining, marketing, and distribution company in India. At the
company’s flagship refinery in Mumbai, Mr. Ganesan was a production
superintendent operating crude oil distillation units using modern
state-of-the-art Distributed Control Systems (DCS). Mr. Ganesan’s career in the
United States is also rich with diverse experience in the areas of process
operation, troubleshooting and project execution in power generation and oil
refining industries. During his time with AEP, he provided round-the-clock
engineering support to water chemistry issues for several of the company’s
coal-fired generating stations across the Midwest. He was responsible for
preparing event-specific root cause failure analysis reports with clear-cut
recommendations to prevent reoccurrence of similar initiating events. Prior to
joining Kenexis, Mr. Ganesan gained experience operating a novel used-motor-oil
refinery in Central Ohio.
